"The National Network"

Ms. Asli Özden gave an introduction into the National Monitoring Network. 81 Stations will be established until the end of this year. Of these 36 stations are already build up and functioning. The stations contain a SO₂ automatic analyzer, a PM10 automatic analyzer, data logging and reporting software and a computer, a GSM Modem, calibration gas for SO₂, a gravimetric PM10 measurement device for quality assurance and meteorological sensors. Mr. Niyazi Akcan (Refik Saydam Centre of Hygiene, Turkey)

"The Ankara Network"

Mr. Niyazi Akcan gave an outline of the new Air Quality Monitoring Network for Ankara: 8 Stations located in the city of Ankara at AKM, RSCH, Dikmen, Keciören, Bahcevlievler, Demetevler, Mamak and Sincan will collect data of SO₂, NO_x, PM10; PM2,5, CO, O₃; VOC; Heavy Metal and Meterological Parameters. 3 outdoor panels, 3 indoor panels and the internet will inform the public.
